Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies used on velorustalent.com and how to control them. Most of the website sets no cookies at all. The main exception is the booking scheduler on our Book a call page, which is provided by Calendly and loads when you open that page.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website or a service embedded in it stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others help a provider measure use, prevent fraud, or support advertising.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| velorus_cookie_notice | Velorus | Remembers that you have seen our cookie notice, so it is not shown again. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
| hc_js_gate | Our web host | Set only if the host’s security check runs, to confirm your browser can load the site normally. | Short term | Strictly necessary |
| wordpress_logged_in and wordpress_test_cookie | WordPress | Used only when a site administrator signs in. Visitors do not receive them. | Session to 14 days | Strictly necessary |
Cookies from the booking scheduler
When the Calendly scheduler loads on the Book a call page, Calendly and the services it relies on can set their own cookies and collect information about your visit. In our checks these included:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare, for Calendly | Distinguishes people from automated traffic. | 30 minutes |
| _cfuvid | Cloudflare, for Calendly | Supports rate limiting and security. | Session |
| m | Stripe, for Calendly | Fraud prevention. | About 13 months |
The scheduler also loads scripts from providers Calendly uses for analytics, security, and marketing, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google reCAPTCHA, Meta, Segment, Sprig, Braze, and Airbrake. Their use is governed by the Calendly privacy notice. These providers load only on the Book a call page. No other page on this site loads them.
What we do not use
Velorus does not run its own advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Our fonts are served from our own server, so reading a page does not contact a font provider.
Your choices
- Book without the scheduler. If you would rather not load Calendly, skip the Book a call page and email hello@velorustalent.com or use our contact form, and we will arrange a time.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, including third party cookies like those the scheduler sets. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Changes
If the cookies on this site change, we will update this page and the date below.
