Accessibility

Velorus wants velorustalent.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Checked text and background color pairs against WCAG contrast ratios, on both the dark and light sections of the site.
• Built the navigation, menus, and question lists so they work with a keyboard, with visible focus, and with the Escape key to close open menus.
• Used a single main heading per page with headings in a logical order, and a skip link to jump to the main content.
• Written text alternatives for photographs and descriptive labels for diagrams.
• Kept touch targets large enough to tap comfortably on phones.
• Reduced motion for visitors who set that preference in their device settings.

Known limitations

• The booking scheduler on the Book a call page is provided by Calendly, and its accessibility is controlled by Calendly. If it does not work for you, email us and we will arrange a time directly.
• Some diagrams carry detail in visual form. Each has a written caption and a text description, and we are glad to explain any of them in another format.
